Black and White
Some of the finest pictures have been shot and shown to the world in black and white. Some of the finest photographers have used the black and white film medium to excellent effect. While it is possible to recreate the film effect in Photoshop, the pleasure and at times the pain of shooting film is almost as rewarding as studying the works of the B&W masters like Ansel Adams, Cartier-Bresson and Sebastiao Salgado. Without the use of a darkroom, here is my attempt at B&W. All of these images have been shot with Ilford XP2 Super and scanned with Nikon Coolscan V.
